Vietnamese Agarwood
Agarwood trees can live up to a thousand years. In order to maintain its lifespan for such a long period of time, it has a unique means of self-defense. This is because when a tree is damaged by pests, rain, wind, etc., it secretes sticky sap to heal the wound.
The essence secreted in this way accumulates and solidifies over several decades to hundreds of years, forming a lump of resin, which is called agarwood.

Agarwood has a strong antibacterial effect and is excellent at alleviating heat in the digestive and respiratory organs, so in China, it is used in medicine to treat colds and digestive disorders. It helps relieve stress and stabilize nerves.
